Welcome to Tami Mulcahy Music

Projects and highlights:

  • Over the last few months I have been writing and recording with Emmy Award winning producer Ron Alan Cohen. Ron and I met judging a song competition together and shared similar instincts about the songs we heard. That chance meeting led to four new songs for TV/film application.                                                                                      Call Me, Til You Say Goodbye, Never Imagined, Fall Up The Stairs.

  • California Weather EP is a four song collection produced by Richard Harris (Kidd Rich) in Los Angeles. The flavor is overall positive, west coast, feel good, uplifting and love.                                                                                                                             California Weather, This Is It, Playhouse, Leaving LA

  • South Bay House Concerts - SBHC is now just over three years old. We are 1100 members strong with 20+ hosts and posting 250+ events. Thank you to all the hosts who joined this music network. Together we are building a shared fan base to help artists in making a sustainable living.

  • You Are Loved is featured in an Australian short video showcasing the photographer's work with newborns and young children. The song is available at Triple Scoop Music.

The music of Some Pain honors the One Billion Rising movement. Set to a collage of photos collected off their Facebook pages from around the world, it tells the compelling story of the fight to end violence and the power of coming together in a unified voice.

Lucky Forward - My third CD with four songs produced by Grammy producer Enrique Gonzalez Muller. Also...the sentimental favorite, Springtime Rose, produced by Kevin Harris with Marty Atkinson on background vocals.

Lucky Forward Blog...
Re-entry to civilian life long before PTSD was even a word, carrying emotional burdens without professional support, makes me wonder how soldiers went on to live a “normal” life again. Thus the line in Lucky Forward – "Where ordinary boys became heroic men, then home to lives that would never be ordinary again". (read on...)

Going Pro in Song Writing Blog...
If you watch sports, you have probably seen the TV ad “There are over 400,000 NCAA student athletes, and almost all of them will go pro in something other than sports.” It is a powerful message that I ponder as I head in the annual “Writers Week” event at our local high school. (read on...)

What is Lucky Forward?  Lucky Forward was General Patton's army slogan during WWII. I heard this expression when my uncle passed away...or, as he would say, joined the Great Majority. A fellow vet and rehab graduate of Walter Reed told stories.  I took notes. Months later, the intro to this song came to me. But my Uncle was a colorful character...how to capture it all??  One day I pulled out my notes and there at the bottom I had scribbled Lucky Forward. I googled Lucky Forward and quickly found my way to the speech General Patton gave to the troops before the Allied Invasion. There I found my clarity.
